Slam Dunk has already met all of our desires this year, surely? We’ve been gifted the legendary Sum 41, pop punk kings State Champs, emo icons The Used… Hell, we’re even getting a We Are the In Crowd reunion! How on Earth could there be anything more exciting to spice up this already fantastic line up? Well…

For all you metalcore lovers out there, Sheffield’s own While She Sleeps have been added to this year’s line up. It’s their first time at the festival since 2015, and this year they’re HEADLINING the Jägermeister Stage! If you like While She Sleeps, we’re sure you’ll be glad to hear that Code Orange have also been added to the line up – if you love raw, guttural hardcore music and haven’t listened to Code Orange before, we promise these guys are gonna blow your mind.

Ska enthusiasts are also going to be on cloud nine; alongside the already announced Reel Big Fish, Spunge and Popes of Chillitown are making appearances! So make sure to pop on anything checkered, bring your trumpet, and be prepared to have an absolutely glorious time skanking your heart out.

On top of all this, we’ve got some sick alternative additions with A, the most difficult band to find on any streaming service, and Doll Skin, who are making their Slam Dunk debut! We’re also getting Detroit punks The Suicide Machines and our favourite punk rock supergroup Me First and the Gimme Gimmes! But – there’s more – how could we forget the post-hardcore goodness that is the Parisian Chunk! No, Captain Chunk! before washing it all down with some soft acoustic from Long Beach, California’s This Wild Life??

This line-up is sounding pretty delightful to us – May can’t come sooner!
