It’s an ordinary Wednesday. Except… no it isn’t!!! It’s a stunning Wednesday, because the first 2000Trees 2019 lineup announcement is here! We’ve been speculating since… well, since about ten minutes into the drive home from 2KT 2018about who could be on the bill for this year, and we aren’t disappointed.
Our first headliner is the massive You Me At Six – fresh off the back of a run of dates playing bangers new and old, they’ve proved that their live show is one of the most fun ones you’ll ever see, so what could be better than seeing it in a glorious Cheltenham field? They’re followed on the bill by a double billing of metalcore royalty in the form of While She Sleeps and Every Time I Die, the latter playing 2003’s Hot Damn in full – why? We don’t know! But we’re EXCITED!
The bill is already packed with legends, but every name just adds MORE – it’s Frank Iero’s first announced UK show under new band name the Future Violents, and if any other show he’s ever played is anything to go by, it’s going to be a highlight of the weekend.
As ever, 2000Trees have a brilliantly diverse selection of bands, spanning every genre in rock, from Nervus, Milk Teeth, and Heavy Lungs’ rousing punk to the infectiously catchy indie-rock vibe of Estrons, Spielbergs and Indoor Pets.
We’ve got something to say about every band announced so far, and this is only the first announcement! Whatever else 2000Trees have in store for us, it’s shaping up to be another fantastic weekend.
