The loss of Creeper was one of the most devastating to hit the rock community in recent years. Following an astronomical rise to fame that seemingly happened overnight, their on-stage break up shocked their fanbase (the ‘cult’) to the core. Their MCR-level theatrics permeate their single album and handful of EPs, from the storylines to the themes to the visuals, and even, it would seem, to their dissolution. But now, it seems that their return is looming – and it’s set to be as gloriously dramatic as we’d expect.

Who are Fugitives of Heaven? Well, the 200 lucky lucky people who’ve got their hands on tickets for their super-intimate show on November 1st at London’s 229 are really hoping it’s Creeper – the signs were pointing to yes as the ever-attentive cult sleuthed out the gig and grabbed tickets as soon as they noticed the suspiciously familiar black and purple artwork, and clocked it’s going to be exactly a year since Creeper’s shattering departure. But all our wildest hopes have been confirmed as the band post announcements to their social media – we reckon they’d have sold out the show via word of mouth alone in the lead up to November, but of course, minutes after it became official, every last ticket’s been snatched up.

So what’s around the corner?! More music? More drama? Is this show a one off? All we know is, one of our favourite bands in the world are back, and even if it’s just for a night, we’re more excited by them than ever.

The show is now sold out, but keep your eyes on Twickets in case anyone’s selling one! (And remember not to buy from unofficial resellers or your tickets may not be valid).
