Bring Me The Horizon have been absolutely spoiling us recently – with the wildly anthemic Parasite Eve followed by the gloriously heavy OBEY ft Yungblud, these metalcore icons are truly in top musical form. The tone of their recent tracks also seems to hold a running theme; it’s almost as if they’ve been soundtracking the current downfall of humanity. With this in mind, we must say their upcoming EP name, POST HUMAN: SURVIVAL HORROR, is pretty apt. On the eve of Halloween, 30th October, prepare yourselves for an absolutely post-apocalyptic treat.
Not only does this EP offer two of the best releases of this year, but we’ve also got some jaw-droppingly brilliant features. We’re talking the deliciously bittersweet Babymetal, outrageously fierce Nova Twins, and even the outstanding Amy Lee. With so many stellar artists taking part, as well as the aforementioned Yungblud, Bring Me have clearly gone all out. And, considering who’s involved, as well as the energy of the previous singles, we’re pretty sure this album is going to deliver some absolutely pit-worthy anthems.
Speaking of pits – Bring Me have also announced an arena tour for next September. Hitting Glasgow, Cardiff, Sheffield, Birmingham and finishing up at the O2 in London, this is sure to be an unmissable set of shows for anyone even remotely into heavy music. Arena crowds tend to be absolutely wild when it comes to Bring Me, we can assure you!
So make sure you nab yourself a ticket – and pre-order the EP if you want some early access to tickets!
