For our Bands of the Month, we like highlighting people who excite us. And there are few bands on the scene who are more exciting than Drug Church. Whether it’s their raucous live shows, or their records that practically batter you over the head with their mix of energy and emotion, Drug Church keep fans and newcomers alike on their toes.

Lucky for us, it’s the perfect time to be either one of those things – the Albany five-piece are setting off on tour in just a couple of days, hitting some deliciously intimate venues around the South and Midlands. Kingston’s Fighting Cocks and Nottingham’s Bodega a just two of the mega-history-rich ports of call, and Drug Church’s riotous performances are certain to add to this history.

And how could we get away without mentioning that Drug Church are also playing a set at our favourite festival, the one and only 2000trees? It’s closer than ever, and we just can’t wait to be there, especially with bands as sick as our BOTM all over the bill.
