When it comes to the discussion of iconic rock bands, you really can’t miss out Muse. With their awesomely ambitious soundscapes and futuristic themes, Muse have always been in a realm of their own. This month marks the 20th anniversary of their debut album, Showbiz, an album that many have since tried to replicate, but all have fallen short. In the last 20 years, these guys have given us show-stoppingly class guitar solos, passionate vocal performances and mind-blowingly epic tracks – and that’s why Muse are our band of the month.

To celebrate Showbiz’s anniversary, these guys have announced the release of a mega collector’s edition bundle entitled ‘Origin of Muse’. It’s set to be released on 6th December and will have more than 40 unreleased tracks, as well as demos and unheard material from debut ‘Showbiz’ and break-through album ‘Origin of Symmetry’.

The celebration will also surely have an impact on their next round of shows in support of their latest release Simulation Theory. As a band that really do love their own back-catalogue, you can bet that the shows at London’s O2 Arena on the 14th and 15th, as well as the Birmingham Arena show on the 17th, will have some old treats in store.

Muse have been treating us to absolutely outstanding rock tracks for the last 20 years. If you’ve never given them a try, you’ve got a lot of choice – but we’d definitely recommend starting from the beginning: Showbiz’s opener Sunburn will have you gasping for more as soon as the first few piano notes burst out of your speakers.
